A great surprise yesterday with a great Barbaresco Cascina Baricchi « Riserva » 2012.
Rarely commented ?!
I have had some success with the 2012 as well - mostly off restaurant lists as I didn’t buy piemonte wines back then. But seems an accessible vintage that ages relatively quickly, so that may explain the good showing?
just had this bottle on Tuesday night. The grape varietal is nebbiolo rosé and it is a red wine. It was a lighter wine than a traditional nebbiolo with less tannic structure and this 2012 was ready to drink.

Laurent I believe that a rare cuvée from the the 2001 vintage released 15 years after production. Not one bottle listed on cellartracker
We actuallay had the Barbaresco Riserva 2012 (nebbiolo).
