2000 Krug Champagne Vintage Brut - France, Champagne (10/22/2018)
This is perfect Krug for me! The right amount of ox showing, making it more of a subtle complexity to the, still, intensely bright and energized citrus cut, tingly ginger bubbles, chalky and savory minerality…with age bringing in some really nice dried honey, truffle buttered brioche… vanilla marshmallow mousse that’s creamy yet airy…fantastic grand finale finish with everything going off at once in super balance. Just LOVE this! (97 pts.)
