Wine cellar adjustable foot repair

My artevino’s adjustable foot ended up cracking and Wine Enthusiast was nice enough to send me a free replacement part. Now my problem is actually completing the repair. The cellar has a clearance of about an inch and it needs to be lifted up about an inch to install the new foot. The cellar is somewhat recessed between a counter and some wall mounted shelves. I’m considering either trying to jack it up from the front and leaning it against the wall behind or pulling it all the way out and then tilting it on a rented appliance jack on the side to access the foot.

Has anyone done this? If so, any suggestions?

Empty it first. Trying to jack it up filled with wine is a bad idea.

Slide it out, tilt back, and replace the leg/foot
