TN: 2007 Keenan Mernet

50% cab, 50% merlot

This proprietary red blend was drinking fantastically. Oak was fully integrated and there were very smooth tannins. It was complex, yet had power and elegance. Nice pairing with some Flannery picahna.

Michael, nice note. I haven’t had this bottling but have had the Cab Franc and Zin across various vintage. Really enjoyed both and thought they both had great balance and minimal oak signature.

It’s a nice cuvée. Glad it was singing for you, Michael.

Nice! I had a bottle of their 2007 cabernet reserve that had started to crack up, but it's good to hear that their flagship Mernet is drinking great
