TN: Video Offline #2!

Although this was billed as Video Offline #2, I did not detect any horse or barnyard notes. And I mean that in a nice way.

The initial attack was pretty good. Had a bit of West Coast vibe but just needed some air. Notes ranged from “this is what I happen to have open tonight” to “please love me.” Mid-palate was quite good, with notes of smarts, smarm and smog. (Or Smaug taint? Will retaste tomorrow.)

It should be noted that Sammy Hagar made an extended appearance, with a brief cameo by David Lee “Ruff” and possibly Geddy Lee. While I love Hagar, I’d like a bit more of David Lee Ruff.

The back end was really where it’s at. So much black muscat, so little time.

Overall I’d give this a 91. Would rebuy.

OMG this is gold

Thanks for the morning chuckle.
