Tariffs are hitting and some shipments may be delayed.

I was offered some Macon Vire of Lafon, a wine I buy occasionally when I want a Burgundy for short term drinking. Usually a sub $30 wine, it was selling at over $40. A few other French staples were also higher; all of them at the 25% level.

In these troubled times hard to see producers and distribution absorbing the extra. And I heard anecdotally that some wines that were supposed to have been shipped did not make it. Looks like, at least in the short term, we may be relying on our cellars.
