I highly recommend that every berserker attend d&r’s upcoming interactive wine tastings. My wife and I had a total blast while under quarantine. Totally sold me as a lifetime customer. Rowdy keep doing what you do. Love it!
Jesse- Huge thanks for participating. It was awesome to see you, so many Berserkers, and all the friendly faces.
The feedback we’ve got has been phenomenal (thanks everyone!)- We are going to keep these going and evolving.
For those interested, here is the upcoming schedule for the rest of Series I. A huge part of what makes these work is that they are interactive between the participants, the musical artists, and the wines. We kindly ask that people have the specific wines in their glass when they participate.
We’ll send out a full list today to the mailing list but here are registrations and the wines for all the tastings for the next few weeks.
And if that happens, you gotta get Ken Volk in there as well - the guy truly responsible for keeping this vineyard alive and thriving for so long. OG of Enz for sure!
What a fascinating opportunity to compare these two wines from the same vineyard picked four weeks apart - has anyone ever had similar from any other (red) vineyard? I can’t recall seeing anything similar.
I’m on night two of both of them now and loving them even more.
Just a note to anyone joining or thinking of joining for this Saturday (MSG and Fred & Dora’s Petite Sirah)
Along with the artists, Bill Brosseau of Brosseau vineyard will be joining us to talk about Chalone AVA and his family’s history of growing grapes there since the early 70’s.
For those joining the Sunday Berserker tasting, Ann Kraemer of Shake Ridge Ranch will be back to talk about Shake Ridge.
