I should be good for this. I have a couple of sparkling here at home that should work.

Think I'll open a 2013 Larmandier-Bernier Champagne Terre de Vertus Premier Cru. Panzer had an e-mail offer on the wines just after I received this bottle, so I should probably see if I like the style.

Have you had the Latitude as well? If so, is there much of a difference between the Longitude and Latitude? I was interested in getting one or both but Panzer told me the Vertus was a good step up.

I should be able to make this. Haven’t had a Larmandier-Bernier Longitude in awhile, so will pop one of those.

Um.......

Omaha steaks are absolute trash, Brian. Flavorless, not marbled at all, strange shades of gray upon receipt...Omaha steaks are literally the Walgreens box wine of steaks. With the wines you drink, if you've never tried Flannery, I really, REALLY encourage you go ameliorate that IMMEDIATELY

Hangers will change your life. Low and slow in the oven is perfectly fine for those. Reverse sear works great for just about everything else they sell. Waste NO TIME - get some NOW, seriously

I really, REALLY need to buy some Flannery at the next BD. Omaha Steaks is good but this seems like a big level up.
Brian: This may sound strange but if you actually figure the real price per pound for Omamha steaks then you may be surprised. In addition, on the Flannery website, Bryan has cooking instructions for almost all cuts using all different methods. They are quite accurate. I have been buying from him for over ten years and you really cannot go wrong.

Cheers!

I'm already convinced Marshall haha. Fortunately the majority of my Omaha Steaks has been gifts from relatives or bought on deep discount with Groupon.

Still not worth it - even free, they aren't worth it [snort.gif]

Fun time tonight even if Todd did bail before I could ask him about his new smoker.

My wife just told me she got a $25 credit from Gold Belly, and sure enough Flannery is on there! Going to order some steak :)

So entertaining!

We went with a 6-pack of NY strips, ribeye, and filet mignon (2 each). Can't wait!

That’ll work...but the hangers really are legendary, make sure you get those next time. Then we have to work on your ordering of ‘filet mignon’ [smileyvault-ban.gif]

Goldbelly was limited in their options and didn’t have hanger steak. We did the 6-pack that included filet mignon on because it had free shipping, whereas just getting the NY strips and ribeye would be $30 for shipping.

Don’t hate on filet, some of us don’t want to always be in a meat coma after dinner 😂 Next time when ordering direct from the site I’ll be sure to try to hanger.
