TN: 2012 Sylvain Cathiard Chambolle-Musigny Les Clos De L'orme

Starting to drink really well. Has a touch of forest floor and some smoked meats to the aroma. There’s a core of sweet cherry and the palate is silky with a stony base. It has decent grip to the finish and flavours fan out.

I dream of a day where Jeremy posts about a wine that regular blokes can afford. [pwn.gif]

Fantastic CM village from Cathiard, I try to beg for a few bottles every vintage during EP. Realistically this is a 1er Cru CM and priced like one too.

Hi Ian,

In any given month, I post on plenty of good value wines. They rarely get a comment and go through to the keeper without a shot being offered. People tend to only engage on the rarer notes.

Cheers
Jeremy

Sounds great, Jeremy, recently picked up some of the 2017.
