TN: Chartogne-Tallet 2013 Chemin de Reims BdB

Stunning wine. Low dosage not evident but laser like acidity and extremely pure focused fruit. Beautiful bead and delicate yet powerful. Spectacular. Perhaps my favorite grower.

We drank a Sainte-Anne today. Great everyday bubbles.

Same here, and had 2013 Orizeaux and 2011 Chenin de Reims In the last week. I love these wines. Just bought some 2012 Chenin de Reims after reading this.

how is 13 for bubbly?

2013 is exceptional for Chardonnay from the Cote des Blancs. In general, it is vintage worthy, but not anything super special outside of this region IMO.

I restocked some 12 and some cuvee st Anne after this one. Great wine.

Loved this at the Skurnick tasting and picked up some bottles.

I haven’t tried my 2012s yet but I have had the 2013 twice, my most recent TN is below. I liked the 2013, too, although not as much as Michael, who seems to have had his bell rung. It’s great when a wine can do that for us.
