TN: 2019 Massican Annia (USA, California, Napa Valley)

Wow does this wine have a nose. Complex blend of floral, nut and stone fruits, and even a little smokey. Palate is just as complex, starting high acid citrus slightly bitter with a more ripe fruit mid and back to a long steely stony finish. Best Annia so far.

Always a delicious and interesting wine.

His whites are outstanding including a very good Sauvignon Blanc. He also makes a couple of awesome Vermouths. One of my new favorite wineries.

Been wanting to try Massican for ages, thanks for note.

Get some. Great wines and Dan is an easy person to support.

I buy Annia every year and the 2019 is my favorite to date. Exceptionally fresh wine that is a pleasure to drink, especially in summer.

Had one of these last night and it was beautiful. Aromatic and on the palate it manages to balance the acidity and fruit so well. Adding Chardonnay seems to bring a little roundness to balance out the acidity of the Italian varietals.
