Domaine Hubert Lamy profile

I have recently attended a very insightful Zoom tasting with Olivier Lamy from Domaine Hubert Lamy.

I was so much inspired with that session so decided to do my small contribution and wrote an article which you might find helpful to learn more about this outstanding winemaker in Saint Aubin.

Since it is a quite a long read, I would rather post a link to the article.

Enjoy reading and I will appreciate for your feedback and comments.

Thank you for this! Their 2017 En Remilly is in my latest order from a Parisian exporter I deal with. Looking forward to it, but it might need cellaring.

Very well done indeed! Bravo.

Thank you - an excellent report on one of my absolute favourite producers.

interesting that haute densité was basically an accident.

Thanks Stas. Karine and Olivier are terrific people.

Excellent wines. Someone once told me he’s the PYCM of the St Aubin. Reasonable comparison.

Actually PYCM is the PYCM of St. Aubin! [snort.gif]

Really good read. Thank you.

2017 En Remilly is showing very well now as many 2017s. That’s the beauty of this vintage. Of course it has a hell of the potential going forward and will develop over time with bottle aging. I hope you have ordered a case, so that you can observe its evolution.

Thank you, William!
My amateur wine writing effort and your kind words are very encouraging!

I can’t agree more. That is a must have from Saint Aubin.

Yeah, funny coincidence! I am very glad Olivier holds for this approach as it is extremely labour intensive and very expensive. But the result pays off.

Very passionate and truly commited to what they do.

I’m a big fan of PYCM as well, however stylicstically they are quite different.

Thank you, Kris! I am very glad you enjoyed it. That means a lot to me.

Thanks a million for reading!
