Come join us for some friendly discussion and sharing of wines…

Sean

Bump, I should be able to make it for at least part of it.

Might be able to drop in for a half hour or so!

What are we drinking?
Have to pull something

I’m drinking some riesling.

Anyone drinking red?

2017 Goodfellow Clover Pinot Gris for me. It may be my platonic ideal of a Cali Chard.

I hope this is West Coast time…I’d go downstairs & grab something to open if it’s still about to start…just saw the PST champagne.gif

“Blueberry wine will change your life.” - Kirk

I’m convinced, I need some of that cerulean nectar!

Let me see if I can put this into perspective. We gave a bottle of 2010 Bartlett Blueberry Winemaker’s Reserve as a wedding gift. It was also the wine that I repeatedly heard “Do we have more to open?” more than any other wine.

Here are some of the wines we opened during our wedding weekend:
2015 Keller Hubacker & Kirchspiel Riesling GG’s
2012 Wittmann Morstein Riesling GG
1996 Salon
1996 Taittinger Comtes BdB
2002 Pol Roger Champagne Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill
2008 L. Aubry Fils Champagne Premier Cru Aubry de Humbert (X4)
Krug Champagne Brut Grande Cuvée Edition 164eme
2010 Clos Rougeard (Foucault) Saumur-Champigny
2015 Henri Jouan Clos St. Denis
2007 Didier Dagueneau Pouilly-Fumé Buisson Renard (Magnum)
2010 Thomas Pinot Noir Dundee Hills (Magnum)
1999 Musar (Magnum)
2016 Domaine Bachelet-Monnot Bâtard-Montrachet
2015 Joseph Drouhin Corton-Charlemagne
2014 Domaine Ponsot Morey St. Denis 1er Cru Clos des Monts Luisants Très Vieilles Vignes
2005 Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé Chambolle-Musigny
2009 Lorenzo Accomasso Barolo Vigneto Rocchette Rocche
2006 Giuseppe E Figlio Mascarello Barolo Monprivato

1996 Giuseppe Cortese Barbaresco Riserva Rabajà
1996 Fontanabianca Barbaresco Sori Burdin
2005 M. Chapoutier Ermitage Le Pavillon
2014 Sine Qua Non Syrah Capo dei Putti Eleven Confessions Vineyard

So, Kirk, I highly recommend that you renew your vows and invite me to the ceremony.

Thank you…it was a weekend filled with only immediate family & our wedding party. 18 people in all. One of the beauties of such a small wedding was we could really enjoy the weekend, the prep, and all the little special moments with our family and loved ones. It was a tough decision to make it this small, but after all is said & done…I would do it the same all over again.

The champagne selection alone is sick.

Kirk, is your wife as enthusiastic about wine as you?
