The nose has some cola and loads of ripe cherry plus a hint of smoked meats. It is luscious and voluminous, with a core of perfectly ripe fruit and good savoury detail. It is so generous and giving at this early juncture and is a joy to drink.
I too love opening up early bottles of Rousseau. So generous. That texture!
Never mind. I love opening any bottle of Rousseau at any time of its life span.
