TN: 2010 Domaine Jean-Marc Pillot Chevalier-Montrachet

  • 2010 Domaine Jean-Marc Pillot Chevalier-Montrachet - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru (7/5/2020)
A pristine nose of honeysuckle, preserved lemon, white peach and aniseed. The palate is direct, detailed and so minerally. There are layers of flavour and a gentle butteriness. The finish has great cut, is seriously chalky and seriously long.

tearing it up lately.

On vacation, grabbed a few nice botts from the cellar to relax with.

Thanks - we should have backed up teh truck on these at the time!!

They were very well priced Kent. Sadly a recent '07 was badly oxidised. In fact I have had a poor run over the last month. Dauvissat '08 Foret was shot two days ago and I just opened an advanced 2010 Henri Boillot Corton-Charlemagne.

Drinking great wine on vacation is heaven.

I have one at home and been wondering how it is showing. Thanks, it sounds like I should pop my bottle.

wait . . . for me. I can open 2010 Sauzet Monty though it’s painfully young.

Makes excellent white and red

Sounds like a good idea…the '10 Pillot Chevy can wait.
