    Second wine of the night, so notes not as on point. Lean as they come. Very fruity, which you would expect from a whole cluster. Good acid, as you also would expect from a low alcohol Syrah. Not tons of tannins and somehow slightly short despite the good acids, but overall a good food wine and a pleasant experience. But I had a better relationship with the 2018 Pax’s North Coast Syrah - that was excellent. (89 pts.)

Day-after-update: More integrated today, rounded somehow. Elegant. Almost feels like a bigger wine this day. I’d upgrade the rating to 90pts based on how it tastes right now.
