Aubert or Rochioli Pinot offerings

I have had a lot of experience with Aubert and love them, However almost zero with Rochioli SVD’s.

Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated before I pull the trigger.

Thanks

The Rochioli SVD Pinots are big, and they are “very California.” That said, that are actually well-balanced. I stopped buying a few years ago due to some palate shift and increasing prices. I do enjoy them when I open them, but I don’t regret moving-on one bit.

Rochioli is rich, but not high alcohol! Aubert alc. is usually higher. Rochioli SVD are the only ‘expensive’ pinots I buy now (and only 4-6 each year). They are usually ready to drink in the 3-8 year range; though they do well even longer. I’ve drank over 50 SVD and all were wonderful.

Use to be on Aubert. I liked their Chardonnay’s a lot more than their pinots. But, I like Rochioli’s SVD chards more than their pinots also. I found rochioli might be more consistent with their pinots, but Aubert Chardonnay’s are more consistent.
