2017 Bedrock Wine Co. Zinfandel Old Vine - USA, California (7/22/2020)
My bottle in February was clearly compromised, as this is f-ing awesome! Rich fruit balanced by subtle tannins and bright acidity, long finish and insane drinkability in one $19 package. Holy cow is this good.

I bought some of the 2017, but should have bought more. Bought more of the 2019, but should have bought even more.

The 2018 was good but the 2017 was on another level.

Seems like the vineyard mix in there changes substantially year to year, based on what they use for the single vineyards. Based on Morgan’s note, the 2019 will be great as well. I believe he said it’s 1/3 Bedrock vineyard.

I’ve only had the 2018 and found it excellent, so very excited for the case of ‘19s after they arrive and settle!
