A wee BloodyPulpit:

  1. Kokoman got in a bunch of new German Rieslings and these are some I’ve been tasting thru.

  1. Dr.Thanisch: I was pretty much blown away by this wine. Shows an unusual degree of Mosel valve oil for a wine this young.

  1. The Dr.Thanisch and the NikWeis are beautiful examples of Mosel wines at stupid/silly prices. Likewise the Leitz is a great price. The Knebel is probably the best of the foursome but a twice the price, but very fairly priced. Those are the four that I purchased more of.

Excited to see that you got to try one of the Rieslings from my home town. They tend to be under the radar. Let me know if you’re interested in a couple more Rems Valley recommendations.

Danke …

July 2020, some relative disappointment :
Nik Weis St-Urbans-Hof Riesling Mehringer Alte Reben 2016 : 15/20
Frais et aromatiquement mutique, si bien que j’ai pris sa fadeur et sa minceur pour celles d’un muscadet. Si l’on se concentre, on devine un peu de menthe et de citron vert. 11,5° d’alcool.
