Croatia Vineyards Maps

I would like to add croatian single vineyards to https://weinlagen-info.de/. Can you help with information, maps etc?

Hi Charlie,

Quite limited information of high quality out there but a good start could be this site:

http://grandcro.hr/region/

I can for some of the regions help with more specific info, but depends on how detailed you aim to go).

Maybe someone can help find a better map, the below link gives a good idea of the regions:

Cheers,
Mikael

We tasted at GRK on the island of Korcula. If you go, spend a minimum of 3 nights on Korcula. We stayed for 2 and it wasn’t enough. It’s a relaxing island compared to Hvar.

Looks fun, Dan,

I see they are already taking bookings for 2021…tempting

Korcula is a great island, agree that to really explore, more time is required. Food is also very good here.

Love Grk, unique grape and can produce terrific wines. Lumbarda is well worth a stay/visit, to see both vineyards and enjoy the sandy beaches. Very few hectares of wines and not sure if all, but many vineyards are ungrafted. Also coplanted with other variety (Plavac mali) for pollination.

For me Grk is the star, however Posip, also native to the island can produce very good wines as well.

Related to the info in the link about the origin of Grk being Greece. Believe this is incorrect and if I recall correctly then it is genetic linked with Tribidrag (Zinfandel) and native to Croatia.

Cheers,
Mikael
