1988 Château Carbonnieux - France, Bordeaux, Graves, Pessac-Léognan (8/16/2020)
A really lovely drink. The nose has some smoky mineral notes along with tobacco, mint and red fruits. It is gently creamy but still possess good detail. It is only mid-weight and balance and proportion are perfect. Briary fruit flavours are back-lit by electric acidity and it finishes with some crunch.
