I have two Le Cache Units. Overall, I would say that I have been happy with them, and I agree with the overwhelming sentiment on the board, which is that they are quality units from a company that has great customer service.
I also have a (about 15-year-old) Sears fridge in my garage (which I do not use for wine other than bottles I am chilling).
The paradox: compared to my wine fridges, the Sears fridge:
-Keeps things colder.
-Runs quieter.
-Requires no maintenance (filters, replacing the cooler)
-Cost well less than a third what the fancy wine fridge costs.
-Does not have a fancy furniture look.
So, why the massive price disparity?
