TN: 2018 Vincent Girardin Bourgogne Cuvée Saint-Vincent

Ripe, juicy red and black fruit, medium acidity and tannin, supple and pleasant mouthfeel. Couldn’t find another aroma descriptor regardless of my good intentions - certainly no herbalness or spice. A wine which is perfectly correct and good for relaxed, everyday drinking, but I was craving the austerity and acidity I found in, say, HN’s '17 Bourgogne. To me this tasted like a Tejo wine I could have gotten at half the price or less. I’ve heard all about the 2018 vintage’s characteristics and this confirms it.
