Amex offer plus discount codes means I can get some wines I’ve never heard of, delivered, for less than $10 a bottle. I’m guessing this is basically a negociant sort of situation? Just curious if anyone has any experience. My expectations are low, just hoping to get a few daily drinkers, but don’t want to throw money away on stylishly branded swill, either.
I just saw that Amex offer. $20 back when you spend $20+. Up to 3 times. I didn’t see anything I knew and it looked like the highest priced wine was under $20.
Update: I went for a 6-pack, “summer reds” or some such thing. Less than $10 per bottle delivered, so why not?
In short, I wish I hadn’t. Generic, unexciting wines, zero to no varietal character. Don’t waste the money.
