Taco Bell's New Jalapeño Noir

If you haven’t seen yet, Taco Bell’s new wine — the Jalapeño Noir — is making the online rounds. Currently, it’s available only in Canada. But, honestly, it seems surprisingly promising.

It’s labeled with the St. David’s Bench VQA (of Ontario, Canada), which is certainly capable of some cool-climate Pinot Noir. At 12.7%, looks like it could be a nice light, simple red. Wondering if any of us are up in Canada and able to report back on how it drinks.

For the curious, I shot a video talking through the wine and the St. David’s Bench VQA. Taco Bell’s New Wine: Jalapeño Noir from Cheesy Chalupa Estates (Seriously) - YouTube

Cheers. & stay safe out there.

I prefer '61 Cheval Blanc with my fast food

Styrofoam cup, no ice.

One could say the best wines are poured under the table at a meal for one. :’)

My wife has a thing for Lynch Bages with Carl’s Jr. Famous Star, but only next to the ocean in NorCal.

It really does work.

I will try this new wine with a chalupa if I can! I like the lighter ABV.

Nice one, Miles. [cheers.gif]
