TN: MonteRustico Langhe Bianco '19....(short/boring)

The new '19 vintage showed up at WholeFoods so tried:

  1. MonteRustico DOC: Langhe Bianco Dogliani (13%; 90% Arneis/10% SauvBlanc; PacificHwyWines&Spirits/AmericanCanyon) G.D.Vajra 2019: Med.light gold color; very fragrant floral/Arneis/gardenias/carnations slight mineral/chalky lovely aromatic nose; lightly tart fairly rich/lush very strong floral/Arneis/gardenias/bit spicy/peach light chalky/stony slight herbal/SB very perfumed flavor; very long/lingering lightly tart very floral/Arneis/gardenias/peach light stony/perfumed talc finish; an absolutely beautiful perfumed Arneis as good or better than many at twice the price; stupid/silly price; better than even the '18 at $14.00 $12.00 (WF)

A wee BloodyPulpit:

  1. I was pretty much blown away by this wine. Loads of bright/fragrant Arneis fruit w/ a touch of minerality to add interest. Reminds me a lot of the Ryme Hers Vermentino in its perfumed character. Beautiful wine. I’m going back for more.
