Day 1: One of my top wines over the last five years for value/quality. This wine has aged nicely and has a long life ahead. Pencil lead, blueberries, spices, tobacco and black licorice. Big style wine and medium plus finish. Enjoy with a steak. 92 points
Day 3: Not as intense but plenty of flavor. Blueberries, pencil lead, tobacco, black licorice and ripe plums. Medium to long finish. A touch of heat on the finish. Certainly many years left on this one. 92 points
Recommendation: Decant a few hours or hold until 2025. (92 pts.)
