This wine is one of potential, as currently it is a bit reticent. A streak of oak on the nose, and plenty of brooding, dark fruit. Black cherries on the palate. There is some rusticity here, a feral/iron note that adds intrigue. A good line of acidity and well-structured.
Though a very different style than the domaine’s current wines, this is very nice in its own right, though it is begging for further aging.
