I recently picked up a few bottles of Lafarge Volnay at auction that don’t have aN importer label on the back…in fact there is no label on the back at all. Just the Domaine labels on the from, neck, and capsule. Anyone ever experience this?
is there a tax stamp on the top of the foil? they were most likely bought outside of the USA
I have Rieslings that I purchased in Germany and brought home in my suitcase with no label on the back. If I sold them at auction, that would be what you described. I’ve also purchased wines in EU and had them shipped here pre tariff and they came with no importer labels.
