A Recommended Loire Chenin Blanc

2018 Domaine Petit Clocher Anjou Blanc
We opened this wine with a recent weekly cheese plate. I am a big fan of the wines from this property in general, and have mentioned some in previous posts. Their 2018 Anjou Blanc is stellar. I already posted a TN about it previously in October of 2019.

My tasting impressions this time around are very similar to my previous note and the wine is still delicious and recommended. Additionally, shortly after my previous post about this wine here on WB, Wine Enthusiast published a complimentary review of the wine. Was this coincidental timing or just another example that “influencers influence”?

Thanks. I quickly googled to see if available in my immediate market.

I do find it odd that when I click on the provided WE link, they list it at $40. I’m finding it locally for some change above $13.

That price of $40 in WE is odd and probably in error. It is a basic Anjou Blanc and I paid about $15 I think. Cheers.
