Drank with Friday street-dinner at Udon West.
Hint of wood, while 15% abv may not be evident in the palate, it shows up after the fact. Ground pepper and some sweet raisiny fruit. B


1998 Domaine du Virux Telegraphe La Crau

Saturday street dining at Brasserie Match 65.
Delicious, complex, well-rounded, almost Burgundian in weight and texture. A CdP for prime time drinking. Great length. This bottle, though, may be starting a slight fade at the very end. A-

Wow, that looks dark in the decanter.

Yes it was dark (another photo angle below). I may sound a little harsh with my “slight fade” comment, but am confident enough to hold on to my last bottle for up to 5 more years.
