    So light. So sprightly. So un-California. A mouthful of sour cherries and elegant finishes. Wonderful. Almost Pinot-like. Goes to show how versatile Syrah can be to the various styles of vinification - it can be any part of the spectrum. Not many grapes you can say that about. Decanted for 30mins, and at first a bit taught. But halfway into meal, an opened up delight. Wish I had more. (94 pts.)

A few years of age is also very kind to this bottling. The 2015 is amazing now.
