    Really a nice wine. The nose is pure Napa, very expressive with dark fruit and some Christmas spices. On the palate, the bright acidity brings the wine to life. At first there is plum and dark fruit, but then the acidity kicks in and the finish is almost raspberry-like. Great spectrum of flavors. The wine is well balanced and should continue to age beautifully. A lovely wine at a good price point.

Really enjoy these Virage blends, particularly with age on them like you’ve had. Beautiful, silky.

Just had a 2010 Virage from a 375 that was still singing. Always good.
