I just received an email from Aubert that they would be shipping soon and am obviously thrilled! My question is why/what is the backstory behind the name CIX? i Looked on their site, but didn’t see an explanation…did I miss it? Thanks in advance, I adore this site…check in 6-8 times a day.

I thought it was an acronym for a particular Montrachet suitcase clone
Maybe 109 was a Parker score.
received my aubert shipment today, semi funny story.
fedex confirms i received shipment 15 minutes before the truck hits my house. 2 drivers in truck, driver said is this 2765 and I said no it’s 2675, then we repeated this 2 more times. he hands me the box and the top is open. no signature of course. i look at it strangely and his response was ‘sorry, we ran out of tape.’ i shit you not.
i quickly opened the untaped box and realized the 6 btls were fine. also the tape on the bottom was one single piece just about ready to come off fully.
He likes Charli CIX’s music a lot!
