Wine-Searcher Alerts Falsely Triggering

Has anyone else had dozens of wine-searched alerts trigger last night on bottles that were available internationally, but not in the country specified (US)?

Seems like something went wrong on their side, this will be a lot of work to rectify…

Yeah, I had a pile of emails this morning… was excited until I opened them!

I received 20 bogus alert emails this morning. Likely a code error on wine-searcher’s part that ignored the “shop location” variable in individual alerts. I’ve learned over the years that wine-searcher developers aren’t the best in the biz.

Same happened to me. All it did was make me sad at how much more we have to spend for good wine in the US.

I’m really hoping the 30+ ones I received will be restored instead of having to set them all again…

My guess is that this is a trivial fix for them. Someone’s code got checked in that shouldn’t have lol.
