2017 Aeris Wines Carricante Bianco Centennial Mountain - USA, California, Sonoma County (11/14/2020)
12% abv. Medium straw, good aromatics. On the palate, lemon, pineapple, and an enjoyable saline minerality. Light and refreshing, but savory and lasting. Good depth and mouthfeel. I like the distinctiveness of this wine. New wine area, new varietal. This is a really interesting and I think very successful ongoing project. Interesting to see if this ages as well as its Italian cousin. (92 pts.)
