TN: N/V Larmandier-Bernier Champagne Latitude

Right off the bat, there’s expressive chalk on the nose, as well as fresh lemon curd and underripe green apple (it’s crisp but still rich, if that makes any sense!). Medium bodied, with good weight but still crisp, lovely 100% Chardonnay fruit, and a perfectly judged dosage that keeps it generous but not too lean. Lip-smacking acid, fine mousse. Great for an apéritif - simple and delicious - or, like me, an excellent complement all the way through a meal of pork and noodle soup.

I used to buy this and liked it, but it somehow fell off my radar. Thanks for the great reminder.
