2016 Le Piane Piane Rosso Vino da Tavola - Italy, Piedmont, Vino da Tavola (11/18/2020)
Early look at what seems to be a pretty long lived wine. It has a fine balance, and enough stuffing to sustain at least moderate cellaring. It’s showing a bit simple now, but there are hints of floral and earthy complexity that should further emerge with time. Good to check on a bottle now, but best to tuck the rest away for a restful nap.
