TN: 2015 Domaine Matrot Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières

The first bottle was oxidised, the second was the bomb. Sappy, dense and rich but light on its feet. Loaded with orchard fruits and cut with a fine line of minerally acidity. Expansive and long on the finish.

Premox on Matrot? Say it ain’t so!

Glad you hit 1 for 2!

“Buy two, get one free of premox.”

Yeah, poster child for premox. Sad.

Imagine thinking it’s still excusable to make premox-prone wine as late as 2015

a good bottle from Matrot! Send it back. Something’s wrong!

That reminds me to better try some of my Blain Gagnards !

Well I was going to hunt a bottle of this down. But I don’t want to buy 2 just to hope 1 is good.
