Pretty classic cool-climate, whole cluster American Syrah; cranberries, sour cherry & a touch of blue fruit with a bit of olive and woodsy stemminess on the nose; nice freshness, mouthcoating tannins, just a touch of white pepper and spice on the finish. Not incredibly complex and lacked that certain touch of magic, but tasty enough.
Thanks, Sean, for checking on yours. I only have one or two of that first vintage left.
Slainte,
Mike
