TN (but not really): 2010 Grand Puy Lacoste

Such a great wine and value for me!
Had it with Flannery Club Roast on Christmas and paired so well together, although easily drinkable and enjoyable by itself.
Tannins very much smoothed out, relatively fruit forward for a Medoc/Pauillac (based on what I’ve had, which honestly is not that many), but not overly so.
Very good balance and should continue to drink well for many many years, but in a great drinking window now for me.
So good, that I picked up four more for $110/bottle.
A fantastic value, both compared to other similar Bordeauxs and higher end CA cabs, which I love.

GPL is my favorite wine, but I’ve not had the ‘09 or ‘10 yet. Glad to hear you had a good experience with the ‘10! Was shocked at how well the ‘05 showed during a blind tasting a few months ago.
