TN: 2014 Jean-Claude Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers

2014 Jean-Claude Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru (1/7/2021)
Beautiful nose; touch of, I suppose, what is commonly known as Ramonet mint, as well as a gentle mix of apples and pears. The palate is quite structural, with plenty of minerality and acid, which then reveals more of the same fruit from the nose. A slight hint of oak on the finish. (93 pts.)

I love Ramonet’s 2014s. Just fabulous. Might even deserve a 93+!!! [cheers.gif]

This is my first one. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves

Nice! Good timing as weinberg just made me buy some 15’s! I hope the 15 is as good your 14? These can be a little edgy and cut tight upon release…maybe the riper 15 vintage will work well with this vineyard? LOVE me some Ramonet mint!

yeah, a real arm twister of a job. Asked you to help me resist, you bought, and told me to buy. You got it backward! Not going to AA with you! And with all that Krug, surprised you had room for more wine.
