2016 Rhys Pinot Noir Alpine Vineyard - USA, California, San Francisco Bay, Santa Cruz Mountains (1/23/2021)
12.9% abv. Burgundy red, very expressive aromas. On the palate, fresh strawberry, raspberry compote, cinnamon, mint and asian spice. Delicate, yet penetrating, concentrated and focused flavors. Very good depth, excellent length. This is really outstanding Pinot! Delicious now and I can’t wait to see how it will evolve. (96 pts.)

Nice! I just took delivery of this wine a few days ago. Normally I would straight-away sock it away in the cellar for a few years, but this is inspiring me to open one of my two early. Thanks, Mike.
