I do like a well-aged Chenin Blanc from the Loire Valley in France. This well known producer of Chenin makes a range of wines and this is their sweetest version. With significant bottle age, the sweetness mellows and tastes drier. A golden yellow colour, no alcohol % on the label. Aromas of bruised apple, freshly cut pear, green plus and a hint of marzipan greet my nasal sensors. The mouthfeel has a good viscosity to it, is slightly off-dry and with excellent acidic structure. The long quince jam length is most pleasing on its own, or with fish. Mature, though with a further drinking window of 20+ years.

Note: I tried to post a photo as usual (gorgeous yellow colour of the wine, old school label), but the file size appears to be too large. Same file as usual, so not sure what the issue it.
