TN: 2000 La Louviere Pessac-Léognan

Purchased on release and PNP. Darker color than you’d guess, with some bricking at edge–looks younger than it is. Nose is very Pessac–smells as it should. Seems predominately merlot, gentle and floral. On palate, tannins softened but still present, acidity still there, fine finish. Would be very versatile at the dinner table. Nothing wow about this but punches above its weight and quite a pleasant and enjoyable drink. Not going to get better with further age, but should drink well for many years hence.
