TN: 1987 Morgado Vintage Port

Another one I’ve never seen or heard of before. The price was right, so why not give it a go. It still is very dark ruby, much more like a 10-15 year VP than a 33 year old. The fruit is also still very youthful and primary, which was rather surprising. However, Light tannins and a bit light in the acidity department, this also lacks in the complexity department as well. It is quite pleasant but I am not sure this will improve for the better. It seems to be suffering from the Peter Pan Syndrome, growing up without growing old. It is more reminiscent of a good unfiltered LBV than a VP.
