TN: Kruger-Rumpf Riesling Kabinett '19...(short/boring)

In a race to keep up w/ David, I’ve been tasting as many '19 Germans that show up. Tried this one last night:

  1. Kruger-Rumpf Riesling ImPitterberg Kabinett Nahe (VDP GrosseLage; GA; 9%; A.P.Nr. 7 702 089 040 20; SkurnikWines) Kruger-Rumpf/Munster/Sarmsheim/Nahe 2019: Loud pop when screwtop opened, lots of small bubbles; med.light gold color; strong floral/R/mango/pineapple lots of simple R fruit very slight Mosel valve oil slight mineral rather attractive nose; fairly tart off-dry (1.0%-1.4% r.s.?) strong R/floral/mango/pineapple/ripe slight Mosel valve oil bit tutti-fruity rather pretty flavor; long strong R/floral/mango/pineapple slight mineral/Mosel valve oil finish; a somewhat tutti-fruity pretty/pleasant Kabinett a bit on the simple side; doubt that it has the acidity to make great old-bones; pretty enough but just that and not worth the $27.00 (KK)

A wee BloodyPulpit:

  1. I was really wanting to like this wine. Alas, it was just rather simple/fruity & doubt it has a lot of potential.
