Domaines Schlumberger Kitterle Guebwiller 1982

A decent piece of salmon. Curious to try this Riesling. A new arrival in the cellar, purchased to fill a case. Not bad, fully mature, slightly on the edge but pleasant enough at first. Flavors of very ripe apple and honey did not mesh well with the salmon, so we enjoyed a glass after the meal but neither of us reached for a second one as it was beginning to oxidize. An interesting bottle at $12 but difficult to pair, and needs to be drunk within a half hour of opening.
