2017 Chateau Ferran Pessac-Leognan Blanc -

Nice but subdued aromas of lively pear, and hints of hay and quince. The palate is fresh and tender, nicely balanced with enough piquant acidity in the finish to invite another sip. This has good weight and length. It lacks the intensity of top white Graves, but could improve with time. Rated 88, up to 2 points of improvement possible over the next few years.
