TN: 2002 Williams Selyem Pinot Noir, Central Coast

diggin’ out something a little old tonight. Color is fantastic, just a little bricking at the edge. Nose is all Pinot, all day, rhubarb, spice, along with leather, and, yes, a bit of oxidation. This probably should have been drunk up 10 years ago, but it’s held up remarkable well for a “lowly” appellation wine. Good, not great. Cork is in fantastic shape, as you can see.
